Adam correctly predicted Switzerland and Norway to advance. Switzerland did so comfortably, not allowing a single goal. Norway, in trouble after a loss to New Zealand, exploded against the Phillippines to scrape by.
Adam was 1 for 2, correctly predicting Nigeria but wrongly picking Canada over Australia. In the last match, Australia mashed Canada to leapfrog steady Nigeria, whose own upset over Australia Adam correctly picked.
Adam correctly predicted Japan and Spain to advance. Neither team had trouble beating Zambia and Costa Rica. Adam also predicted a big upset of Spain by Japan, but didn't expect Zambia to crush Costa Rica.
Adam was 1 for 2, correctly picking England but wrongly taking China over Denmark. The day 1 China-Denmark match was the decider, and Adam incorrectly chose China, whom England destroyed on the last day.
Adam correctly predicted the Netherlands and the USA to advance. The Dutch breezed through the group stage, while America was tied down (pun intended) often. Vietnam had no chance; Portugal blew theirs.
Adam was 1 for 2, correctly picking France but wrongly picking Brazil over Jamaica. He predicted a tie between Jamaica and Brazil on day 3, which was correct, but he didn't expect Brazil to fall to France the match earlier.
Adam correctly predicted Sweden and South Africa to advance. The latter was unpopular, but Adam would not budge, and indeed, Italy lost to South Africa on the last day. Ironically, Adam chose Italy to win that match!
Adam failed this group, choosing Germany and Korea. Both severely disappointed, and while Germany shut down Morocco 6-0, it collapsed thereafter. A brave Colombia and Morocco surge forward to the round of 16!
