Coming out of a challenging but stimulating 6.s095 IAP class on intermediate probability, with Olympiad problems galore, I was ready for a semester of...more probability. 18.600 delivered, with challenges in practical scenarios (applied probability in hypothesis testing, market dynamics) and theoretical depth. The rare "A+" (one of two I have earned at MIT) likely came from helping other students by answering about half of all Piazza questions in the class. My passion in probability sent me to more statistics-related classes, like NLP and grad-level probability theory in fall '22.
