2024 Results · NH State House
Here we map the 2024 general election results, and we set every district beside its 2022 result: the panel shows the 2022 outcome and the swing, and a FLIP tag marks a district whose majority changed party. New Hampshire elects its 400 representatives in two overlapping layers: non-floterial districts cover every town and ward once, and floterial districts each span several of them, so their voters also elect a floterial representative. We've drawn both layers side by side: from the left, the non-floterial map, the floterial map, then the same two sets as circles (area proportional to seats, rough geography, north up). Shading is the R minus D margin of the two-party vote, on the same red–white–blue scale throughout.
Hover over or tap any district, circle or card and we outline it on both the map and the circles and show it in the panel below the figure; click to pin it there, and a non-floterial district also brings up the floterial race its voters take part in. Have fun exploring!
All 203 races
We list the winners first in bold, then the other candidates; each card’s border takes the district’s shade on the map.
Sources and notes
Source: NH Secretary of State, 2024 general election, final certified results (including recount figures). Republican and Democratic candidates only; percentages are shares of the district's R+D vote, which in a multi-seat district counts every vote each voter cast. Swing = change in the Republican share of the R+D vote since 2022 (shown only when both years were contested). FLIP = the party holding the district's majority changed since 2022. District boundaries: US Census 2022 cartographic boundary file; floterial districts drawn as the union of the districts they cover. Cards: winners first in bold, then the other candidates; vote share with raw votes in parentheses. Pie: the party that won the district centred at 12 o'clock, the other party at 6.
